[:en]In 2025, Cambodia successfully secured a total investment capital of approximately $10 billion. Within this substantial total, the infrastructure sector stood out by attracting $3.8 billion in dedicated funding. These figures were highlighted in the 2025 Annual Progress Report regarding the implementation of the Comprehensive Master Plan on Intermodal Transport and Logistics System 2023 to 2033, which was officially released by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on February 25, 2026.

The report further details that the infrastructure sector’s $3.8 billion share was part of a broader $10 billion investment landscape for the year. China emerged as the dominant source of this capital, leading all investment partners by contributing 54.25% of the total investment funds. Additionally, the total value of goods exchanged for the year reached $35,419 million, representing a 13.35% increase compared to the 2024 figure of approximately $31,247 million.

In terms of logistics and transportation modes during 2025, the air transport sector played a crucial role in the movement of goods. Approximately 61% of Cambodia’s total imports were facilitated by air transport, while about 33% of the country’s exports were shipped via the same method. This significant influx of capital and the shift in transport dynamics underscore the continued momentum of Cambodia’s national development projects and the successful execution of its long-term logistics and transport strategies.
