Experts to Discuss Impacts of Hazardous Construction Materials in Cambodia

The EuroCham partnered with Union Aid Abroad – APHEDA will host a virtual conference addressing “Impacts of the Hazardous Construction Materials” on Monday 27 September.

The webinar session will gather leading real estate & construction experts and professionals to share knowledge and the most up-to-date know-how experiences within the sector.

The speakers include Managing Director at Archetype Michel CASSAGNES, Head of the Real Estate Practice Group at DFDL Charles AMAR, Manager of the Eliminating Asbestos Related Diseases Program at APHEDA Phillip HAZELTON, Deputy Director of the Directorate General of CCF CHHAY Phalroth, and Vice President Contracting at Comin Asia Michael FREEMAN.

Meanwhile, the webinar will focus on how to identify which constructions materials could contain hazardous components; the role played by asbestos in the Cambodian construction sector and its impacts on human health; and reasons why asbestos should be ban from the Cambodian construction sector.

There will also be an introduction to the CCF Laboratory, which is a public laboratory under the Ministry of Commerce which provides a solution for testing materials in Cambodia.

At the end of each webinar session, participants will have access to an extensive Q&A session and can engage directly with our expert speakers.

This webinar session is the last part of EuroCham’s webinar series related to the real estate sector. The two others have been successfully held on 16 and 22 September respectively.
