German Travel Company Launches Luxury Hotel in Sihanoukville

 

In an exciting development for Cambodia’s tourism sector, a renowned German travel company inaugurated a state-of-the-art 17-storey luxury hotel in the vibrant heart of Sihanoukville on 5 May 2025. The grand opening ceremony was presided over by HE Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, alongside key stakeholders in the industry.

During the ceremony, HE Huot Hak expressed gratitude to the German travel company for its strategic investment in Cambodia, highlighting the nation’s rich tourism potential and lasting peace. He emphasised the strong support from the Cambodian government, which has been instrumental in fostering such developments.

Artur Gerber, the CEO of TUI BLUE HOTELS & RESORTS, shared his excitement about the opening, describing it as the first of several ambitious investment projects the company plans for Cambodia. He noted that the company’s decision to establish a presence in Cambodia stems from the country’s promising tourism potential and the invaluable collaboration with the government and local partners.

The new luxury hotel features nearly 200 elegantly designed rooms equipped with modern amenities, a sparkling swimming pool, a spacious conference hall, and a grand ballroom. The hotel is poised to welcome international tourists, perfectly timed for the upcoming Green Season.
