PM Announces Plan to Build Coastal Cycling Path from Kep to Koh Kong

The Cambodian government has unveiled plans to construct a cycling path along the coastline from Kep to Koh Kong. This initiative was announced by PM Samdech Hun Manet during the inauguration ceremony of the Kampot Multi-Purpose Port on 6 June 2024.

HE Say Sam Al highlighted the initiative, aiming to provide a scenic cycling route by the sea, stretching from Kep to Koh Kong. This new path will offer an exciting opportunity for tourists to engage in activities like cycling and marathons over distances of 200 to 300 kilometres, potentially raising funds for Kantha Bopha Hospital.

PM Hun Manet also emphasised the Royal Government’s commitment to constructing more roads to enhance transportation and serve the interests of the public.

This ambitious project aligns with the government’s broader goals to improve infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism along Cambodia’s beautiful coastline. The new cycling path promises to be a significant attraction, encouraging outdoor activities and benefiting the local economy.
