Law on Non-Tax Revenue Promulgated

The Cambodian government officially promulgated the Law on Non-Tax Revenue on 18 August 2022.

With 12 chapters and 101 articles, the law was enforced to manage non-tax revenue for the national budget effectively, and transparently.

Non-tax revenue includes but is not limited to:

-Revenue from state property management

-Revenue from public enterprises, public partitions, and other financial autonomous entities

-Revenue from public services

-Revenue from fines and penalties

-Other non-tax revenues are defined in Article 33.

Income from the management of state property refers to income from natural resources, sale or exchange, and concession of state property​ (including land, construction, infrastructure, and buildings).

For non-tax revenue determined before this law came into force, which has not yet been approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance within one year, the legalization must be reorganized in accordance with this law.
