Grand Unveiling: Phnom Penh Municipal Court’s State-of-the-Art Building Valued at Over US$14 Million

Phnom Penh Municipal Court proudly opens its doors to a remarkable new building, a masterpiece valued at over US$14 million, situated in the prestigious locale of Sangkat Prek Leap, Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh. The inauguration ceremony, graced by the presence of Prime Minister Hun Sen, took place on 26 June 2023, marking a significant milestone in Cambodia’s judicial landscape.

Occupying an expansive land area of 9,456 square meters along the distinguished Lok Ta Krahorm A Street, Prek Leap Village, Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh, this architectural marvel is nestled within the esteemed OCIC development area. Towering above the surroundings, the new judicial edifice stands proud with dimensions of 62 meters in length, 60 meters in width, and a soaring height of 8 storeys, encompassing a total area of 23,035 square meters.

The meticulous construction of this illustrious building spanned a duration of 2 years and 6 months, with a total investment of US$14.6 million. The esteemed Ly Chhuong Construction & Import Export Company undertook this monumental endeavor, ensuring the flawless execution of the project. (Read more and more)
