Quarantine Centre in Battambang Province Officially Announced

A quarantine centre in Battambang province worth more than $US170,000 was officially inaugurated on 17 May 2022 in the presence of HE Sok Loo, Governor of Battambang, and Mr Nam Bok Huyn (Nam Bok Huyn) Director General of KOFIH. Korea.

HE Sok Loo stated that at present the prevalence of the COVID-19 virus is much lower, and when no more quarantine is required, the centre will be used as a general treatment centre. If there is an outbreak of COVID-19 again, it will be used as a COVID quarantine centre again.

HE Sok Loo believes the building will contribute to the development of the health sector in Cambodia.

The quarantine centre is in Trang Health Centre, Kamrieng district, Battambang province, built with the assistance of the Government of Korea through the Korea Fund for International Health Care (KOFIH) with a total budget of $US 171,245.56 and is also equipped with various medical equipment.
