Stamp Duty Tax Revenue at US$104m in H1 2022, up 41% Y-o-Y

During the first half of 2022, the government collected a total of approximately US$104 million in stamp duty tax, a 41% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to a recent report by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, income generated from the house and land leasing also rose by 10% percent to approximately US$2.8 million.

Stamp duty tax is a 4% tax imposed when there is a transfer of ownership for immovable property. Taxpayers must pay this transfer tax within three months of the property transfer. (Read more)
