Unique Construction Features of Chip Mong Mega Mall 271

Advertorial

Chip Mong Mega Mall 271, a large-scale shopping mall along Street 271 in Phnom Penh, is being built in accordance with international standards to provide strong construction quality, high safety and convenience to business partners and customers, according to Chip Mong Retail President Arnaud Dufresne.

The mall is a massive investment project being constructed on 5 hectares of land in the high potential zone of the city and is set for completion by 2022.

Mr Arnaud Dufresne said Chip Mong paid high attention to construction quality, safety and convenience to business partners and customers, thus all materials and equipment used in both the construction and decoration stages are carefully and uniquely selected.

“The firm has chosen a unique an MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) system for the mall. We are the first mall in Cambodia to use CAST IRON pipe instead of normal PVC to ensure quality. CAST IRON is up to four times more expensive than PVC pipes used in supermarkets, but could last for over 50 years, is resistant to temperature, and releases minimal to low chemical reactions to the environment,” said Mr Arnaud.

“We have also selected Galvanized Pipe for the rainwater management system and Metallic Conduits for the electrical system, which both are durable, noise and heat resistant, and high quality,” he added.

The front area of the mall is also uniquely designed with a large recreation space of 15,288 square metres, the largest design ever in Cambodia to date, Mr Arnaud said.

To build the façade, Chip Mong also selected the best team of engineers and architects, both domestic and international, to ensure high quality and best practices in accordance with high standards.

Last but not least, Chip Mong Mega Mall 271 is equipped with high quality branded products such as Malaysia’s DAIKIN air conditioners, Singapore’s KOHLER generators, US’s Notifier fire alarm systems, and Germany’s Siemens construction management systems, among others.
