US$4 billion Naga 3 Progressing, Set for Completion in 2025 Despite COVID-19 Crisis

Construction of the US$4 billion Naga 3 complex is progressing smoothly and is scheduled for completion in 2025 despite the COVD-19 crisis, according to NagaCorp’s report on 08 March.

To date, construction is at the piling stage and being carried out by the Malaysian company Econpile. This firm has been engaged by Chinese firm MCCI as a sub-contractor to carry out works such as site clearance, piling works, geotechnical instrumentation, diaphragm walls, basement, earthing bed system and other associated works.

Malaysia’s Econpile was awarded this US$85.7 million sub-contract in December 2020. (Read more)

According to NagaCorp’s previous report, Naga 3 is an integrated entertainment complex comprising of two 65-storey towers, two 45-storey towers, a condotel, a digital theme park, spa, nightclub, retail space, among other facilities using investment capital of between US$3.5 to US$4 billion. NagaCorp also announced that about 93% of Naga 3’s gross floor area will feature non-gaming offerings in accordance with the group’s long-term strategy. Once completed, the Naga World Complex (which includes Naga 1, 2 and 3,) will be the largest river diversion resort in the world.
