Cambodia’s first international standard baseball court set for Kampong Chhnang

A local real estate company has unveiled an investment plan to build an international-class baseball court in the Samaki Meanchey district of Kampong Chhnang province.

The court will be built on an area of 3 hectares with an investment value of about US$400,000, said Mr. Chhim Dara, CEO of Homeland Real Estate and President of the Baseball Association of Cambodia.

Mr. Dara said on Monday 1 November that the construction of the project will begin in December this year and is scheduled to be completed before 2023 when Cambodia will host the Asian Games.

The investment project on the baseball field will contribute to promoting this type of sport, tourism, and economy through visits and sports competitions, he said.

Mr. Dara also called for investment from other investors to join the project.
