Samdech Techo Hun Sen Break Ground For US$46 million Flyover Construction

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia breaks ground on August 31 for the construction of two flyovers with a total cost of $46.7 million.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the flyover is held on Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard, well-known as 60 meters street.

One of the flyovers is located at the intersection of Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard, Preah Monivong Boulevard, and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Boulevard, known as 271 street, with a cost of construction of US$36.7 million and take 36 months to complete.

Another flyover is located at the intersection of Russian Federation Boulevard and Kong Sam Ol Boulevard, known as 2004 street in Por Sen Chey district, with a cost of US$10 million and takes 16 months of construction.

Both flyovers are built by the Overseas Cambodian Investment Company (OCIC).

Currently, in Phnom Penh, there are 6 flyovers that have been built and put into use.

Speaking at the ceremony, Samdech Techo Hun Sen names two new flyovers as Preah Monivong Flyover and Samdech Kong Sam Ol Flyover. (Read more)
