New Flyover Set to be Built at Century Plaza Intersection

The Phnom Penh Municipal Administration plans to build a new flyover at the Century Plaza Market intersection to ease the traffic congestion on Russian Blvd, St. 2004, and St. 2011.

The project was discussed in a meeting held on 20 December, led by Phnom Penh Governor HE Khuong Sreng, with relevant departments and officials in 14 districts.

HE Khuong Sreng said that the traffic flow along Russian Blvd, St. 2004 and St. 2011 is getting worse, which is why the Phnom Penh Capital Administration is studying the possibility to build a new flyover at that junction.

The construction of this new flyover is expected to begin after the official opening of the Chom Chao overpass and underpass in March next year.
