Phnom Penh to welcome another Chinese-owned mall by late 2019

Another Chinese-owned community mall, The One Mall, is scheduled to open by December 2019 replacing the old container market nearby Diamond Island, according to an announcement by the project owner on 22 August.

Located nearby the Russian Embassy in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon district, The One Mall will be a 3-storey mall built on 12,000 square metres of land.

The mall will comprise of 150 shops ranging from luxurious brand-name products, affordable products, local products, food, to a playground, and many others.

After breaking ground in June, the project is currently under construction. At this stage, the first floor has been completed, while the rest of the construction is expected to be done by October and the grand opening is scheduled for December.

This project is an investment by One Mall Management (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, which is the subsidiary of Chinese company Ming Sheung International Investment Co., Ltd.
