Singaporean Firm Partners with WorldBridge Group to Set Up Central LPG Station in Cambodia

Singaporean firm Gas Union Gas Holdings has partnered with Cambodia Worldbridge Industrial Development (WBID) to form a joint venture to set up a central liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) source in Cambodia.

The signing ceremony took place on 10 March. Meanwhile, official business activities and supply operations are scheduled to begin at the end of 2021.

According to the agreement, both firms aim to establish a central LPG source within each of WID’s parks and projects so LPG can be directly piped to tenants and residents.

Under the agreement, the Singaporean company will hold a 55% stake and will send experienced staff from its Singapore office to support local staff in Cambodia.

The other 45% will be owned by WBID, which will be responsible for supplying LPG and establish a local business network.
