Gov’t establishes 30 new villages in Kampong Cham province

The Ministry of Interior has established 30 new villages in Kampong Cham province, according to the announcement signed by Minister of Interior Samdech Sar Kheng on 9 January.

In Kampong Cham city, there will be two new villages Boeung Kok III village and Village 6 “A”។

Koh Sotin district will have one new village which is Phum 15 village.

Kang Meas district will have eight new villages including Boeung Trav Tbong, Boeung Trav Cheung, Prek Krous village, Prek Krous Lech village, Tuol Bei 1 village, Tuol Bei II village, Po Meanchey village, and  Reay Pay Kandal village.

Batheay district will have nine new villages including Phnom Vihear village, Srah Tapen village, Trapeang Chak village, Banteay Chas village, Koh village, Chum Moung village, Tapun village,  Trapeang Thla village, and Phsar Phav village.

Stung Trang district will be 8 new villages including Lvea 1 village, Lvea 2 village, Bek Anlong 1 village, Bek Anlong 2 village, Prek Bak 1 village, Prek Bak 2 village, Boeung Deng 1 village, and Boeung Deng 2 village.

Kampong Siem district will also be two new villages​ including Sandan village and Nokor Bachey village.

The government has also recently established 29 new villages in Kompong Speu (Read more) and 15 new villages in Pursat province. (Read more)
