Traditionally, Cambodians consider the Khmer New Year the largest and most important festival. This traditional festival is celebrated before the sowing season, which is a good time for our people to gather family, relatives, and close friends to take food to the pagoda, play folk games, and go for a walk. This year, the Borey Peng Huoth community marked the occasion with great pomp and fanfare. On this special occasion, Peng Huot Group and its subsidiaries joined in celebrating and promoting the traditional arts and culture by creating great events for the staff of the Borey residents and the public.

Every year, Peng Huot Group decorated the Grand Star Platinum Gate with traditional ornaments and night lights, which brightens the beauty of NR No. 1. creating a welcoming and attractive atmosphere for all visitors. The Borey residents also came together to organize the Atina Village Festival and various gatherings to celebrate the New Year.

Traditionally, to end the old year and to wish good luck for the new year, the company has organized a blessing counting ceremony on the zodiac, which invited 168 monks to bless the Peng Huoth family and relatives living in Borey Peng Huoth. In addition to religious ceremonies, the company also hosts annual parties that showcase culture and traditions through the wearing of traditional, contemporary costumes, accompanied by traditional dance performances and unique contemporary performances.

Borey Peng Huoth Residents Organize Atina Village Festival Supported by Borey Peng Huoth Company

The spirit of solidarity and loving respect of uncles, aunts and all Borey Peng Houth members living in the Borey Peng Huoth project, especially in the Star Platinum Athena project, made them co-organize the Atina Village Festival on April 2 including popular games and dances of all kinds, such as Lam Leav, Saravan and Chok Kampus, with the support of Borey Peng Huoth. In addition to The Star Platinum Athena, the residents of several other Borey Peng Huot projects also organized village festivals and various gatherings to celebrate the New Year on their respective projects.

In addition to the festivities, Borey Peng Huoth gifted its customers to thank them for their support and to foster strong community relationships. Furthermore, PH Investment organized Peng Huoth Sankrant, a three-day celebration held at PH Euro Park, which featured traditional Khmer New Year decorations and numerous entertainment activities.

Khmer New Year is a time to visit pagodas, but nowadays, in addition to pagodas, people like to celebrate Sankranti in places with large courtyards, especially famous tourist destinations in the region, such as in Siem Reap, Angkor Sankranti and in Phnom Penh, at Wat Phnom. Yet Peng Huoth Sankranti was celebrated for 3 days to celebrate and support the promotion of the national traditional festival in public for the residents of Borey and the people in Phnom Penh during the New Year.

The European park, PH Euro Park, which covers an area of about 10 hectares, is covered with traditional Khmer New Year decorations, beautiful in the morning and at night, highlighted by colourful lights all over the streets, bridges and villas along the waterfront. The convention hall and the hall of PhG Hall Hall are like a huge golden palace. In terms of programs in Peng Huoth Sankranti, it is even more interesting with the scenery of ancient art festivals, traditional and modern dances, popular games, food stalls, various materials, and many other entertainment activities.
