APSARA Authority and Ebene Living Solutions Collaborate to Safeguard Ancient Roads in Angkor

APSARA Authority has joined forces with Ebene Living Solutions Company in a landmark collaboration. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 15, 2023, between HE Dr. Hang Pov, Director General of APSARA Authority, and Mr. Kean Kimleang, Executive Director of Ebene Living Solutions, marks the commencement of a joint study project aimed at preserving and revitalizing the ancient roads within the prestigious Angkor Resort Area.

The primary focus of this collaboration is the preservation and enhancement of the historic road extending from the front of Phnom Bakheng to the Rolous area. By leveraging the expertise and resources of both APSARA Authority and Ebene Living Solutions, this joint study project will contribute significantly to the conservation and promotion of the ancient road network, connecting the former capital of Angkor to the scenic Rolous area.

Furthermore, this collaboration sets the stage for increased involvement of the private sector through the establishment of public-private partnerships, further enriching the preservation efforts.

The MoU signed between APSARA Authority and Ebene Living Solutions signifies a momentous step forward in safeguarding the cultural heritage of the Angkor region. By combining their knowledge, skills, and dedication, these entities aim to ensure the long-term preservation and promotion of the ancient roads, allowing future generations to connect with the rich history and heritage of the Angkor Resort Area.
