In a significant move to streamline land use master planning, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), recently held an engaging workshop aimed at disseminating essential guidelines to sub-national administrations. This initiative seeks to foster a unified approach to land use and urban planning, ultimately benefiting each participating administration.

The workshop, titled “PSP and LUMP Handbook and Legislative Review,” is part of the technical support and capacity development initiative under ADB’s TA6830 CAM project. It underscores the importance of collaboration among various government levels to ensure efficient planning practices nationwide.

By facilitating knowledge sharing and consensus-building, the workshop equips local governments and stakeholders with the tools they need to create effective and sustainable land use strategies.
