Samrong Blvd. Connecting NR5 to Ring Road3 Officially Inaugurated

Samrong Blvd., situated adjacent to Samrong Village Borey in Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh, was officially inaugurated on Monday 21 August presided over by Samdech Hun Sen, Hosting Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Samdech Kittipritthbandit and attended by HE Khuong Sreng, Governor of the Board of Governors of Phnom Penh.

The newly unveiled infrastructure, spanning 5.2km and boasting a width of 30 meters, is aligned beside Samrong Village Borey, nestled within Prek Pnov district, north of Phnom Penh. This single-lane road seamlessly connects NR 5 to Route 130, adorned with an integrated drainage system, street lighting, and an array of enhancements combined for travel convenience.

Samrong Blvd. emerges as a pivotal interlinkage, knitting together NR No. 5 and Ring Road No. 3, acting as an arterial conduit to the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, the prospective Phnom Penh-Siem Reap Expressway, NR No. 6A, NR No. 4, NR No. 2, NR No. 1, and an array of other crucial national thoroughfares. The connectivity implications of Samrong Blvd. in driving are akin to the transformative impact of Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd. in the southern precinct of Phnom Penh, contributing to sustainable urban growth.

The ripple effect of Samrong Blvd. extends beyond infrastructure, heralding a surge in property and land valuations along its route, while concurrently crystallizing the northern contours of Phnom Penh as a burgeoning nucleus for investment and development.

HE Khuong Sreng, Phnom Penh Governor, expressed profound gratitude to the developers behind Borey Samrong Village, lauding their pivotal role in conceiving and executing this boulevard. He highlighted the pivotal role of this initiative in nurturing sustainable development across the northern tapestry of Phnom Penh.
