The company showcased its commitment to producing electric vehicles and batteries, shifting away from traditional internal combustion engines powered by gasoline.

Minister Sophalleth underscored that such investments in Cambodia’s green sector align with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, highlighting the importance of adhering to these international standards for mutual benefit. He further noted that Cambodia provides a favorable carbon-neutral environment conducive to economic growth and elevated living standards for its citizens.

In July 2024, ADATA Technology also met with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to assess the viability of its investment plans. The company is looking at an investment of approximately USD 100 million between 2024 and 2027 to set up electronic processing plants and high-tech industrial parks.

Established in 2001, ADATA Technology has established itself as a major player in the international tech market, with manufacturing facilities in the United States, China, and India.
