Adb Funds Manila Water Tunnel

The ADB has granted a $123.3m loan to Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) of Manila to build a new water tunnel in Manila, Philippines.

The proposed tunnel will stretch over 6km in length, with an internal span of about 4m as part of the outflow system from the Ipo dam, part of the Angat transmission system.
