Angkor Botanical Garden Officially Opens in Siem Reap

The Royal Government has officially inaugurated the Angkor Botanical Garden to attract and show the potential of tourism in Siem Reap and for the benefit of the people and national and international tourists.

The gardens were opened on 19 May by HE Chea Sophara, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.

Angkor Botanic Gardens has been improved and expanded to more than 15 hectares in order to attract and show potential for the benefit of the people and national and international tourism.

This Angkor Botanical garden is organized into five large garden locations which have plants, flowers, forests, and wildlife. (Read more)

The garden also features attractive small hills, man-made waterfalls, and other designs.
