Bentley Systems Expands Vilnius Hub to Lead Global Infrastructure Innovation

Bentley Systems is strengthening its European operations by opening a new office in Vilnius, Lithuania, with plans to grow its local team by nearly a third over the next three years.This expansion solidifies Vilnius as a central hub for the company’s digital innovation strategy, focusing on advancements in artificial intelligence and infrastructure development.

Lithuanian engineering teams are instrumental in driving Bentley’s core software platforms, which are used to manage complex projects globally. Key solutions developed by the local team include ProjectWise, used for efficient project delivery; SYNCHRO, which specializes in construction modeling; and the iTwin Platform, a technology that powers infrastructure digital twins.

These tools provide the necessary digital architecture for ambitious global projects, such as engineering AI-driven mega datacenters and supporting the construction of critical transit networks like the pan-European Rail Baltica high-speed railway.

By scaling its presence in Lithuania, Bentley Systems aims to meet the rising global demand for intelligent, data-driven infrastructure solutions. The company is also deepening its collaboration with local universities to integrate digital twin and AI technologies into academic curricula, ensuring that local graduates enter the workforce with the specialized expertise required to build the next generation of cloud-integrated infrastructure.
