CDC Approves Four Investment Projects Worth US$23 million in Phnom Penh & Sihanoukville

The Council for the Development of Cambodia approved four investment projects with a total investment value of US$23.8 million, located in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville.

According to the investment proposal of the companies, the Investment Committee of CDC decided to issue investment project registration certificates to the following companies:

  1. GOLDEN SUN FASHION APPAREL CO., LTD for establishing a clothing tailoring factory in Sre Chorov Village, Chom Chao District 3, Posenchey District, Phnom Penh with an investment of US$5 million which will create 926 jobs.
  2. AMTO CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is granted a certificate for establishing a glue, paint, and ink production factory, located in the special economic zone of Sihanoukville, Sihanouk Province, which has an investment of US$1.7 million and will create 150 jobs.
  3. KAI FENG WOOD PRODUCTS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD will establish a factory for paving boards in the special economic zone of Sihanoukville, Sihanouk province, with an investment of US$6.6 million and creating 300 jobs.
  4. MEI AN LEATHERWARE (CAMBODIA) COMPANY LIMITED will establish a bag factory in the special economic zone of Sihanoukville, Sihanouk province, with an investment of US$10.5 million and creating 1000 jobs.
