Chamber of Commerce Discusses Challenges & New Opportunities in Construction Sector

The Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has held a meeting to discuss challenges, proposed remedies, and new investment opportunities for the construction and real estate sector after being under pressure from the COVID-19 for more than two years.

Held on 24 March, the meeting was chaired by CCC Vice President, Oknha Ly Hour and joined by representatives of the Cambodia Constructors Association (CCA), Housing Development Association of Cambodia, and many other real estate developers.

The objective of the meeting was to gather inputs on challenges, concerns, new requests from the private sector before compiling them and submitting them to the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction for cooperation and remedies.

The meeting also discussed possible ways to restore and expand investment potential in the two sectors, especially during the post-COVID-19 period.
