Solar cooking technology saves up to US$1.4 bn spent on conventional cooking methods

According to Charity Solar Cookers International, solar cooking technology could save up to US$1.3 billion of money spent annually on general polluted cooking gas.

The technology is the renovative cooking stove that creates heat using solar light. Each of solar stove can save up to 1 ton of wood every year and cut tons of CO2 caused by typical cooking gas.

To date, over 4 million solar stoves are being used around the world.
