The Darasakor International Airport in Khemarak Phoumin City, Koh Kong Province, is scheduled to open temporarily at the end of August, initially operating domestic flights. This information was confirmed by Mr Sin Chanserivutha, Secretary of State and spokesperson for civil aviation, during a recent announcement to Fresh News in late June 2024.

Mr. Chanserivutha stated that a technical meeting was held to assess the progress of Darasakor International Airport and to propose the initiation of temporary domestic flights as the first step.
