A joint venture development project in Toul Kork District between Neak Oknha Kith Meng’s company and a Singaporean firm has been officially signed.

Earlier this month, Cambodia’s largest conglomerate Royal Group signed a joint venture agreement with HLH Development Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore’s Hong Lai Huat.

The two companies will jointly develop the project covering 8,221 square metres of land, and construction will begin soon.

Speaking to local media during the signing ceremony, Royal Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mr Mark Hanna said the two companies will begin construction of the 12-storey high rise condominium and commercial building within the next three months with construction being completed within 2 years.

Additionally, while being an experienced company in property development, HLH Group Executive Director Mr Ryan Ong, said that the joint development projects will be built to a high quality in accordance with international standards.

The joint venture was announced by Hong Lai Huat in early August 2018, citing that Royal Group will inject ownership of the land while Hong Lai Huat will provide funds for all development, construction costs and operations. (Read more)
