Delayed Siem Reap 38-Road Renovation Project to Break Ground Late This Month

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that the ground-breaking ceremony for the Siem Reap 38-Road Renovation Project, which has been recently delayed, will be held on 30 November.

According to the Minister of Public Works and Transport HE Sun Chanthol on 15 November, the ground-breaking ceremony will be inaugurated by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen.

Previously, the ground-breaking ceremony was set to be held in mid-November but was delayed due to due to the fact that PM Hun Sen started his self-quarantine after being in contact with the Hungarian foreign minister who tested positive for the virus. (Read more)

The construction of these 38 roads will cost US$150 million which Prime Minister Hun Sen has approved since 04 September 2020.
