197-km National Road 10 Construction 65% Complete

The 197-kilometre National Road No. 10 project connecting Samlot-Veal Veng-Osom to Koh Kong province will be about 65% complete by the end of June.

HE Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works, 23 June led a delegation to inspect the progress of the construction of National Road No. 10 with the participating local authorities, construction company representatives, technical advisors, professional officials, and stakeholders.

The ministry stated that the construction company is continuing its construction work to complete the work as planned.

The road project is built at a cost of US$188 million, financed by the Government of the People’s Republic of China, together with the financial contribution of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The project is being built by China Road Bridge Corporation (CRBC), supervised by Guangzhou Wanan, and is scheduled to take 48 months to be completed in December 2023.

In addition to the construction of several bridges, there is also a ​75-metre high, 530- metre long, and 10-metre wide bridge, which will be the tallest bridge in the Kingdom of Cambodia at present.

It should be noted that National Road No. 10 was officially inaugurated on the morning of March 9, 2020, under the high presidency of Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen (Read more)
