A New Era in Real Estate Investment: Exploring the Rise of Branded Residences in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 11 November 2025 – EuroCham Cambodia’s Real Estate & Construction Committee is proud to announce its upcoming flagship event, “The Rise of the Branded Residence: A New Era in Real Estate Investment,” taking place on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Shangri-La Phnom Penh.

As Cambodia’s property market continues to mature, this high-level event will bring together leading voices from government, international real estate brands, developers, and design experts to explore one of the industry’s most transformative trends: the rapid growth of branded residences across Southeast Asia and beyond.

With global hospitality names increasingly entering the residential market, branded residences are redefining how investors, developers, and consumers perceive luxury, trust, and long-term value. The forum will unpack what this evolution means for Cambodia’s real estate landscape and how the country can position itself to attract premium investment, talent, and international attention.

The session will open with welcome remarks from Mr. Charles Amar, Vice-Chairman of EuroCham’s Real Estate & Construction Committee and Partner at Athipa Law Firm, followed by H.E. Mr. Ny Phaly, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism, who will highlight the government’s vision for aligning real estate development with Cambodia’s expanding tourism and hospitality ecosystem.

Throughout the afternoon, participants will hear from international experts, including Mr. Riyan Itani, Founder and Director of Global Branded Residences, who will present a global market update on branded living concepts, and Mr. Michael Ayling, Group Managing Director of Brand Atlas, who will discuss the emergence of branded residences as a new luxury asset class in Southeast Asia.

The forum will feature two in-depth panel discussions. The first, “Why Brands are Entering the Residential Market and the Investment Potential for Developers,” will explore the economics, demand drivers, and partnership models behind this growing trend, with speakers from Frasers Hospitality, Khou Group, Brand Atlas, and Global Branded Residences. The second, “Designing the Brand Experience,” will examine how design and storytelling elevate branded properties, moderated by Mr. Richard Stevens, Group CEO of Sectorlight, and joined by leaders from OCIC, Santhaya, Sectorlight, and The One Atelier.

Closing with an evening networking reception, the event will offer an exclusive platform for real estate professionals, investors, architects, and brand leaders to exchange ideas and forge new collaborations in Cambodia’s rapidly evolving property sector.
