Angkor Tiger FC to Construct 5,000-Seat Stadium in Siem Reap

Angkor Tiger Football Club has announced an ambitious endeavour that is set to reshape Siem Reap’s sports landscape. Anticipated to resonate with cheers from 5,000 dedicated fans, this stadium stands as a symbol of the club’s profound commitment to sportsmanship and community engagement.

The signing of a momentous Memorandum of Understanding with Fuxin Steel Building on 14 August, in the presence of Satoshi Saito, CEO of the Cambodian Premier League, marks the dawn of a new era for the province’s football enthusiasts.

Emphasising the holistic vision behind the Angkor Tiger Stadium, Akihiro Kato, President of Angkor Tiger Football Club explained that the construction will encompass three hectares on a five-hectare site. The remaining expanse will be dedicated to complementary facilities, ensuring that the stadium complex offers a comprehensive sports and leisure experience.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this monumental project is slated for October, and the stadium’s completion is projected for August 2024. As the stadium’s foundation is laid and its grandeur unfurls, the province of Siem Reap anticipates a future where sports and unity flourish hand in hand.
