Cambodia’s renowned hospitality group Shinta Mani to launch in first property aboard in 2023

Cambodia’s renowned hospitality group Shinta Mani has partnered with Kathmandu-based Sherpa Hospitality Group to open the first Shinta Mani hotel outside of Cambodia.

The 29-suite Shinta Mani Mustang – a Bensley Collection luxury lodge is scheduled to open on 1 March 2023.

Designed by Bill Bensley, Shinta Mani Mustang perches high above the town of Jomsom at the gateway of Mustang, an isolated kingdom in Nepal, forbidden to outsiders for centuries.

This almost mythical region, hidden in the Kali Gandaki valley between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, is one of the deepest valleys and most unusual places in the world.

Shinta Mani Mustang will be an all-inclusive experience, with the guests’ journey curated to provide the most remarkable 360-degree, luxury experience in the Himalayas.

Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant with a large outdoor dining patio; a bar; a wellness center with two treatment suites, a hot plunge pool, a steam room, a sauna and shower; and a mixed-use meeting/activity room.

“Mustang” in Tibetan, translates to “Plain of Aspiration”. It is bordered by the Tibetan plateau with an elevation that rises from 1,372 to 8,167 meters above sea level.

Shinta Mani is currently operating two hotels in Cambodia, located in Siem Reap and the South Cardamom National Forest at Tmor Rung, 3 hours south of Phnom Penh.
