COVID-19 Techo Santepheap Medical Centre 30% Complete

Construction of the COVID-19 Techo Santepheap Medical Centre is currently 30% complete and is on schedule for completion by June 2023, according to an inspection of progress by HE Professor Morm Bun Heng, Minister of Health, accompanied by Dr Yok Sambath and HE Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh on 24 June 2022.

Dr Yok Sambath urged the construction company to speed up the construction to be completed by the end of February 2023 on five buildings, while the remaining four buildings will be completed in June 2023.

The treatment centre is located in Sangkat Kork Rokar, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh, built on an area of ​​nearly 8 hectares, including a total of nine buildings, including seven hospital buildings, a total of 11,000 beds, as well as an administrative and a staff building.

The treatment centre will be an important achievement for the Kingdom of Cambodia, with its largest COVID-19 treatment centre being equipped with modern medical equipment in accordance with standards.
