CVEA’s Recently-elected President Vows to Boost Real Estate Market in Cambodia 2021

Mr Chrek Soknim has vowed to do his best to boost the Cambodian real estate market after he was recently re-elected as the president of the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) for 2021-2022.

The vote counting and results announcement was held via video call on 23 December with the participation of board members as well as other general members.

Mr Chrek Soknim expressed his excitement of continuing the position and has vowed to do his best to promote the real estate sector in Cambodia for further growth.

Regarding the situation of the real estate sector in Cambodia, he said that in 2020, the real estate sector in Cambodia had slowing down by a bit due to the lack of foreign investment. However, with effective government measures and the introduction of the vaccine, he is optimistic about 2021.

In August this year, the Cambodia Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) President Chrek Soknim was chosen to be the next president of the ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA). Cambodia is also honoured to also be hosting the AVA congress meeting next year. (Read more)
