Five Investment Projects Worth Over US$82m Approved for Kandal, Kep, K. Thom & PP

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permission to private firms to invest US$82.7 million in building five factories in Kandal, Kep, Kampong Thom, and Phnom Penh.

The first firm is KITATSU SOLAR (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD, which will invest US$23.4 million to establish a solar panel factory along NR5 in Tumnup Thom village, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province.

The second firm is KHEMUNIK HOSPITAL CO., LTD, which will invest US$23 million to establish a 150-bed hospital along NR21 in Prek Samrong 3 village, Sangkat Takhmao, Takhmao city, Kandal province.

The Third firm is SAMANEA CO., LTD, which will invest US$18.2 million to develop Koh Svay, Koh Mtes, and Koh Kok tourist destinations in Kep province.

The fourth firm is LATE CHENG MINING DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD, which will invest US$13 million in the gold mining business in Sochet commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province.

The fifth firm is HEN JIU GARMENT ACCESSORY CO., LTD, which will invest US$5.1 million to establish a garment factory in Kantouk Cheung village, Sangkat Kantouk, Khan Kampoul, Phnom Penh.

According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), the five new projects will create 1,918 jobs.
