Japan to Build More Schools in Battambang & Koh Kong

The Government of Japan has agreed to provide a grant of US$171,641 for the construction of kindergartens in Battambang and Koh Kong provinces. 

The grant agreement was signed on 1 December. 

Under this agreement, Japan will help build a study building at a kindergarten in Battambang province and another studying building at Tani Secondary School in Koh Kong province. 

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Taninai Ichitomo, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia, expressed his belief that this grant would improve the quality of life of the people in each project location.
