New Land Ministry Headquarters Officially Inaugurated

The new building of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC) in Sen Sok was officially inaugurated on Monday 8 November under the auspices of Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen.

On the occasion, Samdech Hun Sen expressed his pride in the new building, which is not only spacious for officials to work in but also contributes to development in the Sen Sok area.

“Having a new building is a good thing, but the core value is to work effectively. If there is a good workplace, but the work quality is lacking, it really means nothing,” said PM Hun Sen.

Thus, all leaders and officials of this ministry must work effectively to serve the interests of the Cambodian people.

Construction on the new ministry building began in January 2020.

Located in Anlong Kgan village, Sangkat Khmuonh, Khan Sen Sok, the building covers an area of 4.5 hectares, with a size of 132.7 metres long by 94.7 metres wide, with eight floors.

This new building is an achievement that demonstrates the values of the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia in promoting the value of Khmer architecture.
