Phnom Penh Autonomous Port Earns Almost US$9.5 million in Q1 2022

The Phnom Penh Autonomous Port earned US$9.49 million in unaudited revenue in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 17% compared to the same period in 2021.

According to a Phnom Penh Autonomous Port report released on 10 May 2022, the source of revenue of the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port received in the first quarter of 2022 includes revenue from port operations of US$2.6 million, port authority US$350,912, other services were US$33,195 and other income US$220,899.

In 2021, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port earned a profit of US$12.7 million, a 29% increase over 2020.

The Phnom Penh Autonomous Port also has priority work plans for implementation in 2022, including the project to expand the LM17 container port infrastructure from 2012-to 2023, and expand the container capacity to 500,000 TEUs per year, and the project to develop river-based ports along the river.
