Planning Works Complete for Thai Boon Roong Towers, Construction to Begin Post-COVID

The study on the technical designs and fundamental constructions of the Thai Boon Roong Twin Towers has been completed, while the main construction is expected to begin soon after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

Chief of Architecture & Construction at Thai Boon Roong Group Tous Saphoeun posted on his Facebook confirming the news on Thursday 22 July.

His post was in response to public questions about whether or not this project will be built after a lack of progress for over 4 years.

“The plan for this 567-metre-high Thai Boon Roong Business Center project has not been changed. We finished 100% of the technical plan. The construction of the retaining wall and the 26-metre-deep landslide protection have already been completed,” said Mr Saphoeun.

“The construction team and other technical teams are also ready. We are just waiting for the right time to start, which should be after the COVID-19 subsides,” he added.

The project will start under the strict plans and regulations from Okhna Thai Bunrong, the CEO, he added.

If built, the Thai Boon Roong Twin Towers will be the tallest building project in Cambodia, located on 5 hectares of land in front of Naga World. The business centre will have a total area of 1,474,389 square metres, which includes five-star hotels, apartments, condominiums, international offices, shopping malls, restaurants, scenic spots and world-class entertainment services.
