Facilitated by a 247-kilometre water distribution network, the facility is poised to provide clean, safe, sustainable, and affordable water to over 15,000 families in Pursat City and parts of Bakan and Kandieng districts.

This transformative project, funded by a generous grant of 2,405 million yen (approximately US$22.2 million) from the Government of Japan through JICA, materialised over 24 months, commencing in August 2021 and concluding in August 2023.
