The Gov’t announces a 3-day discount on the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) has announced a three-day discount on the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway to celebrate the Royal Water Festival, floating lanterns, and moon worshiping, which will take place from November 14 to November 16, 2024. This announcement was made in notification No. 052 S.K.R. dated November 12, 2024.

During this period, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Company will offer a 20% discount for all types of vehicles using the expressway.

Additionally, for heavy trucks with a load capacity exceeding 10 tons, the following discounts will apply:

– A 40% discount will be available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

– A 60% discount will be offered from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

It is important to note that the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Company recently announced that the expressway toll will be charged at full price starting November 1, 2024. (Read more)
