NR No. 31 Rehabilitation Project Nears 90% Completion

As of 29 May 2024, the ambitious project to restore and upgrade NR No. 31, which extends over 53 kilometres, has achieved an impressive 87.19% completion. This major infrastructure initiative is set to be finished more than a year ahead of schedule. This update was confirmed via the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

The project, which commenced on 30 December 2022, involves restoring and enhancing the 53.53km stretch from Bek Kus, at the intersection of NR 3, to Kampong Trach district town, connecting to NR No. 33. The current construction status includes the completion of two layers of AC concrete, with the expectation to reach 100% by mid-June. Additionally, ancillary tasks such as traffic management, installation of signposts, road barriers, and other necessary works requested by the project team and local residents are scheduled for completion by the end of August.
