Three New Factories Worth Nearly US$10 million Approved for Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kampong Speu

Sen Sok, Angk Snuol and Samraong Tong districts have attracted three new factory investment projects respectively approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) worth a total of US$9.6 million.

The first investment is a garment factory located in Sen Sok in Phnom Penh worth US$4.5 million and an invested by Ruixue (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.

Meanwhile, the second project is a US$2.6-million bag and suitcase factory, an investment by Sheng He Leisure Bag (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and located in Damnak Ampil commune, Angk Snuol district, Kandal province.

The last project is an investment by Fu Bi Xing (Cambodia) Packaging Co., Ltd, to build a US$2.5 plastic factory in Trapeang Kong commune, Samraong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

These three aforementioned investment projects will create 2,543 jobs for Cambodians, according to the CDC.

From the beginning of 2021 to late May, the CDC has approved at least 43 major projects, including the above projects, with total investment capital of over US$2.1 billion.
