Vietnam’s Cutting-Edge Rubber Processing Plant Unveiled in Kampong Thom, Paving the Way for Enhanced Production

Vietnam’s Chipa rubber processing plant in Kampong Thom, capable of processing 2 tons of rubber per hour was officially launched in an inauguration ceremony on 28 July 2023.

Located in Dang Kambit commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province, the factory’s completion aligns seamlessly with the planned timeline, showcasing the efficacy of strategic partnerships.

Governor HE Nguon Rattanak, in his address at the inauguration ceremony, commended the relentless commitment of all stakeholders involved, noting, “The successful construction and installation of the production line exemplify the synergistic efforts of our valued employees, esteemed contractors, and supportive partner companies.”

“The factory, owned by CCK Rubber Development Company, stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of dedicated employees, construction contractors, and equipment suppliers, culminating in a cutting-edge facility poised to transform the rubber processing landscape,” added the governor.

The Vietnam Rubber Industry Coalition’s endorsement of the Jipa Rubber Processing Plant in Kampong Thom reaffirms the project’s pivotal role in meeting stringent rubber processing standards, enhancing product value, fostering competitiveness, and bolstering overall production efficiency.

HE Governor Nguon Rattanak extended a warm welcome to Vietnamese investors, affirming the province’s commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment, further bolstering the bilateral relationship between the two nations.

This momentous investment represents Vietnam’s confidence in Cambodia’s burgeoning economic landscape, amplifying the region’s attractiveness to foreign investors.
