WorldBridge Group & YCH Group Enter Partnership for Development of Phnom Penh Logistics Centre

Local firm -WorldBridge Group and Singapore-based YCH Group have entered a partnership on the development of the Phnom Penh Logistics Centre.

The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding on 03 May at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in the presence of HE Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Public Works and Transport.

The collaboration between Worldbridge Group and YCH Group will shape the Cambodian Logistics Centre to connect regional and global multimodal transport and logistics systems.

Speaking at the event, HE Sun Chanthol said that the Phnom Penh Logistics Centre will help strengthen Cambodia’s connection with regional trade flows, especially in the countries along the Mekong River, including Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam and China’s southwest region and being competitive in terms of both time and shipping costs.

A study on the design, development, and operation of a logistics centre in Phnom Penh is expected to cost more than US$200 million.
