Fairfield Bay Marriott Phnom Penh Officially Launches: The Ultimate in Luxury Hospitality

The Fairfield Bay Marriott Phnom Penh, a four-star luxury hotel, was officially launched on 31 March 2023, at the 45-storey Chip Mong Tower. The inauguration was presided over by HE Dr. HUN Manet and Lok Chumteav Dr Pich Chan Mony, and attended by more than 700 distinguished guests.

The opening ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chip Mong, Duke Leang Khun, who expressed his confidence in this new brand that “The Fairfield Bay Marriott Hotel Phnom Penh, as a world-class hotel will attract national and international guests. The hotel is ready to provide excellent hospitality during the upcoming 2023 SEA Games, contributing to the sustainable development of Cambodia’s tourism sector, which is an important pillar of the national economy.”

“Bringing this world-class hotel to Cambodia, the company has a long-term vision and stands in line with the Royal Government in promoting the potential of tourism and hospitality in Cambodia,” he added.

Mr. Jakob Helgen, Regional Vice President for Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar, also spoke about his pleasure in partnering with Chip Mong to bring the Fairfield Bay Marriott brand to Cambodia. He praised the hotel’s luxurious and sophisticated design that meets international standards, making it an ideal destination for all national and international guests.

HE Dr. HUN Manet lauded Marriott’s continued confidence in investing in Cambodia, particularly through the opening of its second hotel in Phnom Penh, a potential hub of another major city network. He emphasised that the hotel’s location is strategic, connecting regional and global political, economic, cultural, investment, business, and tourism ties both in the region and worldwide.

At the end of the event, HE Dr HUN Manet and Lok Chumteav Dr. accompanied by national and international guests were honoured to visit the hotel area, which is connected with the landscape and beauty of the whole city on the floor of the Fairfield Sky Pool of The Fairfield Bay Marriott Phnom Penh.
