GGear Group Joins Forces with LG Electronics to Bring State-of-the-Art Smart Homes Technology to Cambodia

GGear Group has officially partnered with LG Electronics to introduce advanced LG ThinQ technology in Cambodia, showcasing the latest innovations in smart home solutions. The collaboration was highlighted during LG ThinQ Day, where LG’s newest smart home products and features were presented, transforming how Cambodians will interact with technology at home.

The LG ThinQ App is at the heart of this innovation, allowing users to control all LG electronics—ranging from air conditioners and refrigerators to televisions and washing machines—through their smartphones. This 2024 technology not only reduces the need for physical controls but also significantly enhances the overall convenience and efficiency of managing home appliances remotely. It is a key component of LG’s Smart Home program, designed to make homes more energy-efficient, modern, and user-friendly.

Oknha Sok Piseth, General Director of GGear Group, explained that LG’s latest products have been designed with smart living in mind, offering users the ability to manage their homes remotely through the ThinQ App. “Our mission is to provide the Cambodian market with smart solutions that offer convenience, safety, and environmental sustainability, enhancing everyday life,” he said.

He added that these AI-incorporated technologies are expected to boost the use of energy-efficient devices, contributing to both convenience and environmental impact reduction.

Sung Holy, Managing Director of LG Electronics Cambodia, noted that the LG ThinQ App, first introduced globally in 2017, allows users to monitor and control electronic devices, including TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines. Through this app, users can manage their devices remotely, saving energy and optimizing performance.

At the event, Heng Sengheat, Head of LG Product Training, presented key features of the LG ThinQ program, including new energy-saving air conditioners designed for both residential and commercial use. He also emphasized the AI integration in LG Smart TVs, which offers superior picture quality, smart features, voice control, and easy access to key content, further elevating the smart home experience.

The partnership between GGear Group and LG Electronics is a significant step in bringing smart technology to Cambodian homes, promising greater convenience, efficiency, and a modern lifestyle. This collaboration aligns with LG’s global mission of “Let life be better” by making cutting-edge technology accessible to more households and businesses across Cambodia.
