Installation of Siem Reap sewage system over 80% complete

The installation of Siem Reap’s new sewage system is now more than 80% complete with the plan for it to be ready prior to the next rainy season.

According to a report by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, as of 19 January 2020, 3,019 meters or about 81.59% of the project has been completed.

This project is being built under a collaboration fund between the Ministry of Public Works and Transport with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), for the purpose of easing water congestion in the upcoming rainy season.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has to date significantly contributed to infrastructure improvement across various sectors in Cambodia, especially the construction and rural development sectors.
